About

biography

Emagagu's story is a story of young artists carrying home with confidence. Their music stands at the meeting point between modern African urban sound and Swati identity. They do not perform culture as decoration; they carry it as a language, a rhythm, a look, a movement and a message. The trio first began gaining public momentum with songs and performances that positioned them as one of Eswatini's bold emerging voices. Their music speaks to love, celebration, social energy, pride and youth ambition, while their stage presence gives the audience a feeling of togetherness. Whether performing to a seated audience or a festival crowd, Emagagu bring movement, personality and direct connection. Their rise has been strengthened by media coverage and industry recognition. In February 2025, Emagagu released 'Swati Love Letter', a love-centred single that showed their softer storytelling side and gave audiences a polished, radio-friendly expression of romance and Swati language pride. Media reporting identified the group as Percy P. Thwala, Bonkhe Thwala and Buhlebe'bezwe Dlamini, with Percy P. Thwala described as the founding member of the group. In 2025, Emagagu also entered a new professional phase through a strategic relationship with Hope Creative Concepts. This positioned the group for stronger brand development, booking readiness, new projects, live performance growth, exclusive content and regional opportunities.

On stage, the group is visually engaging and vocally active. They interact with each other and with the audience, turning performance into a shared experience. This makes them a useful act for promoters who need more than background entertainment - they need an act that can lift the room, build energy and leave a memory
